MaryAnn from The Urban Mushroom will be at the Downtown Market Grand Rapids till 2 or 3 getting you signed up for a Mushroom CSA. What that means is you can save BIG bucks and get a mushroom basket every single week with your punch card throughout the spring and summer. Ask her about it! You can still buy fresh mushrooms at the Fulton Street Farmers Market today from 10am-1pm. See ya!
First, you should probably learn a little bit more about it. Jae Rhim Lee explains her concept, where she first thought about the idea, who will benefit from it, and why is it good for the earth?
I like to grill all the veggies on a hot electric grill in some extra virgin coconut oil. I do not grill the spinach or chard leaves I just cut them in strips and add them at the end, after cooking, when they are in a serving bowl.
A little salt and pepper is really all you need for seasoning. The home made chicken broth compliments the flavor of the various winter root vegetables, mushroom and other various veggies. If you wish to add 3.5-4 ounces of meat or chicken you may do so. Sometimes I do sometimes I do not. It’s all up to you. Check out Kim’s demo video~
Thanks for coming out to the Fulton Street Farmers Market Saturday. It was packed and it was so much fun talking “shrooms” with you! Always an education. Come visit me again Saturday 10am-1pm. This past week I had dried black trumpets, fresh Maitake, White Alba, Nameko, Pioppino, King Oyster. Map it from your house>>Click Here

Thanks for stopping by and as you peruse my website you’ll soon discover I’m all about mushrooms!
My name is Maryann and if you’d like to purchase my organic, locally grown, gourmet mushrooms you can stop out and see me every Saturday, 10am-3pm at the Fulton Street Farmers Market (inside the brick building for the winter, since mushrooms don’t care for freezing weather.) I recommend you get there early because my stuff goes fast!
I enjoy talking mushrooms with my customers whether it’s the different varieties, growing, foraging, health benfits and/or safe harvesting. Education about mushroom cultivation is very important to me and I enjoy sharing my knowledge.
You can also enjoy my gourmet mushrooms in delicious, delectable, mouth watering dishes at these fine restaurants, Grove, Bistro Bella Vita and Reserve.
